Plāhaus is located just two miles from downtown Nashville, Indiana—close to the shops, galleries and restaurants of town, yet tucked into a private wooded setting. Completed in 2020, Plāhaus was thoughtfully designed and crafted as a modern retreat in the woods, with expansive windows, elevated views and spaces designed for slowing down. Inside you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen, Smart TV, Wi-Fi, books, board games and cards. Outside, enjoy the firepit with firewood provided. Cell service can be spotty in Brown County; Verizon generally provides the most reliable coverage. The driveway to Plāhaus is relatively steep. During snowy or icy conditions, four-wheel drive (4WD) or all-wheel drive (AWD) is strongly recommended. Although we make every effort to plow and maintain the driveway promptly, winter weather can make access challenging, particularly during and immediately following storms.

The home is located in a natural, wooded environment. The property is professionally treated, but as with any home in the woods, you may occasionally encounter seasonal insects—especially during weather transitions.
